I’ve seen this Orlando restaurant mentioned in that city’s favorite Smashburger conversations. Now they’ve made the trek West to the Tampa Bay area. Let the conversations begin.
𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗡’ 𝗕𝘂𝗻𝘀 – 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗹 / 𝗕&𝗕 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗵 (𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 & 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲)
Beef N’ Buns is the second Orlando burger place I’ve seen open up another location in the Tampa Bay area in the last year or so. Keep em’ coming.
Their menu includes eight different burgers, a couple of steak sandwiches and a few chicken sandwiches and chicken strips. It’s a good looking menu.
My focus has been on the B&B Smash since they opened. It’s just a few miles from my house in Wesley Chapel, so I’ve had this burger a few times already, in double and triple form. I do think it’s helpful to know if you should add an extra patty to these burgers that can be smashed so thin.
I like these patties a little more as they are NOT paper thin. Still 3oz. of grass fed, chuck & short rib, halal beef. Smashed to the edge of the bun. The patties are smashed a little different. The beef is not smashed flat on the grill right away. They smash them after the flip. They don’t have that classic even crust. They say it makes the beef juicier. They could be right. They are juicy and seasoned well. Lots of melted American cheese. It’s prominent. Thin sliced old fashioned pickles on the bottom bun. The onions are caramelized. A little on the mushier side for me, but ok. The BNB sauce is lights out delicious. The brioche bun is soft, lightly toasted and wonderful.
This Smashburger has a big feel to it compared to the Martin’s bun Smashburgers I’ve had lately. It’s a hefty feel. I like it. Could that hefty feel be because of the triple patties? Could be. But the patties are definitely thicker. The triple is my favorite here, but the double fills the need for sure. It’s a fantastic smash. I actually like it better as take out. It’s even better getting that bun steamed in the tin foil. I think you will love this burger!
End of conversation.
