Still riding the super thin Smashburger train for another post. There are no signs of this locomotive slowing down. There are a lot of new Smashburger places that have opened recently. These three brothers, Ali, Ahmed & Matt, wanted to bring one specifically to the USF Campus area. They have, their Smashburgers are a little different and are fantastic!
𝘽𝙔𝙏𝙀 – 𝙏𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖 / 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙧 (𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙚)
The menu is small. Three burgers. All available in singles, doubles or triples. I’d go triple again. They also have chicken nuggets, cookies & milkshakes. I loved the hand-cut fries and the cookies too.
They smash these 3oz. Angus patties super thin, they season them well, then they squirt a little mustard on them. I like the mustard addition. American cheese of course. Diced raw onions and diced pickles get thrown on top. The dicing of the onions and the pickles are a little different, especially the pickles. They have a delicious byte sauce and don’t skimp on it. The cusano’s brioche bun is soft, lightly toasted and wonderful.
This is the super thin smashburger with the perfect crust and the crispy edges you drool over. I’ve had the House Burger 3 times and I wanted to make sure I loved it as much the second and third times as I did the first. The answer is a resounding Yes! This is one of the Best Burgers in Tampa Bay!
