We’ve been staying in the south Tampa area until our house is finished in Wesley Chapel. My wife and I love the area very much. There are a bunch of places to get a great burger off of Dale Mabry Hwy, which connects north and south Tampa.

The original Graze 1910, opened up inside the very cool Armature Works Food Hall and now they have opened up a second location in south Tampa. They are known for having breakfast all day, with an awesome brunch. Order when you walk in and grab a table. I’m going to tell you to order one of their burgers. Their Smash Burger is simple, but has every element it should. I will say right off the bat, don’t share it, it is a smaller burger. Get it for yourself. In fact, I’d get two for myself. I went back and got another one after I shared it with my wife. It is a double patty, although the menu does not say it. You could add a third patty, but it could throw off the meat to bun ratio a little bit. I think a double patty is the best choice.

The patties are juicy and seasoned pretty well. White American Cheese is melted beautifully and is plentiful. The grilled onions are diced to the perfect size. A few thin sliced pickles on the bottom of the potato bun. The bun wasn’t toasted like most. That would be a nice addition. The last component I want is some tasty aioli or mayo. Their burger sauce fills that request perfectly.

This is a fantastic, little Smash Burger.

Notes: It does come with sliced tomatoes. I ordered mine without them. There are a few more burgers on the south Tampa menu than the Armature Works menu. The Smash Burger is only on south Tampa menu at this time. I also tried the 1910 Burger and it was delicious as well. It is a little bigger and it has a very good honey mustard type flavored sauce. The fries are sweet potato fries or well seasoned tots. Get a side of the burger sauce and the 1910 sauce for those fries or tots.
