I think we all know in the Tampa Bay area, the number of chicken restaurant options are endless. There seems to be one opening up weekly. One trend I’ve noticed lately is chicken restaurants are adding smashburgers to their menus. You might ask, how good can a smashburger be in a chicken focused restaurant? Well, after visiting this place, my answer would be, pretty damn good.

The menu has the standard chicken options like wings, tenders & chicken sandwiches. They also have a few grilled cheese melts on Texas toast, including a solid chopped cheese. I’m talking Smashburgers though, and there are four on the menu.
It’s a pretty familiar model they use. 3oz. Halal beef patties, smashed Oklahoma style with a few diced onions. You can get a single, a double and add as many patties as you like. I’ve been on a Triple kick lately with patties 3oz. or under. The beef is juicy enough and seasoned enough. American cheese, pickles and a really good House Sauce satisfy. Martin’s Potato Rolls are the great toasted bun choice. I like that the patties are smashed just outside the bun and the melted cheese blankets them beautifully.
This is a chicken place doing the smashburger proud. It’s worth your time.
Onion Rings are crunchy and fantastic!
