I love it when I hear from fellow burger lovers sharing their love for particular burgers.Β I love it even more when that place is rollinβ out some fantastic burgers.Β Thatβs a lot of love to start a post.

Owner Eric has been in the food industry for a long, long time.Β Itβs been a dream of his to start a restaurant.Β A food truck was the best option and he opened up at @thatplacedownthestreet Food Truck Park in Land Oβ Lakes 10 months ago.Β He just opened a second location in Odessa a month ago at a Food Truck Park behind Loweβs.
Thin pattied Smashburger lovers rejoice.Β This is your jam.Β Literally, the El Diablo Smash has bacon jam youβll want to add to everything on the menu.Β The patties are 2.5 oz.Β After testing different sized patties, that size gave them the beautiful crust and the crispy edges they were looking for and fit the bun perfectly.
The El Diablo has a kick to it with sliced jalapeΓ±oβs and a tasty Chipotle sauce topping the nicely melted American cheese.Β The heat gets countered a little by an absolutely amazing, sweet bacon jam.Β Itβs a shining star on this burger.Β The brioche bun is soft, lightly toasted and perfect.Β The El Diablo is a double patty, which is just enough beef, but Iβd add a patty.
Thatβs just what I did for the OG Burger.Β Made the double a triple and glad I did.Β Same 2.5 oz patties.Β Great crust and nice crispy edges you are going to love.Β The OG has American cheese as well, perfectly sauteed onions and sliced pickles.Β Their smash sauce on this burger is addicting.Β The brioche bun is perfect on the OG as well.
Both of these Smashburgers are fantastic!Β Which one do I get?Β The El Diablo if you are feeling the heat.Β Otherwise the OG.Β Donβt forget to triple them up.Β By triple, I also mean, get a Smashburger a Dog and Fries!
@smashandrollfoodtruck has Smashburgers, Hot Dogs and Fries.Β Eric said to try the Umami Dog.Β It was fantastic!Β It does have their amazing bacon jam on it.Β Also, the Smash Fries were delicious.
